Finally - a great box fan! We use box fans for white noise as well as circulation. The three "Galaxy" brand fans I had died within a year and I could not find more box fans at Wal-mart during winter. After reading the reviews here I bought two of these Lasko brand fans. One for us, one for my daughter. We run them at night, all night every night. This is a quality fan - it weighs more than the cheap Galaxy fans at the discount store and makes more noise. Since we use them for white noise machines for sleeping this is a good thing. Thank you amazon for making them available, and thanks to amazon user for reviews that steered me to them. I would definitely buy these fans again - and probably will.
