Vornado 660 Whole Room Air Circulator

More than anything, this is an impressively powerful fan. I'm the type of person who prefers not only fan noise, but ideally a fan blowing directly on me while I sleep. This is pointed at the wall above my bed and the airflow, even on lower settings, is tremendous. I will toss out that it's not quite as quiet as some reviews may lead you to believe. All but the lowest setting create audible fan noise (which would be expected for moving that much air), and even the lowest setting makes a sound. In turn, the wide, heavily contoured blades churn the air into motion. The air then travels through a duct which sculpts the air into a column shape. As the air exits the circulator, Vornado’s AirTensity Grill straightens the airflow to ensure the air travels long distances. Maintaining the 660 is simple with a detachable grill that provides easy access to the blades for cleaning.
