This fan is perfect for our needs...using in a sunroom where it gets a bit warm in our hot southern summer. The overhead fan wasn't enough so we wanted a sleek, nice-looking, white fan to blow right on us. I tried another one from a local warehouse club, and although it worked, it was ugly and bulky.
