I've found Lasko products to be generally pretty awesome. I've purchased a couple of their heaters in the past and now this fan and all their stuff has so far exceded expectations. The only negative thing I can say about this fan is that the plastic cage or grill is somewhat cheaply made. Despite this I have had zero problems with the fan. It's very quiet, doesn't vibrate, oscillates perfectly fine. I'll elaborate about the cage: * There were a couple of very small blemishes from the manufacturing process. Nothing noticeable. Had I not put the pieces together myself I never would have noticed them. * The clips that hold to front grill to rear grill don't seem very secure. Still, I've knocked this fan over a few times and the front piece still hasn't popped off like I thought it would. That's it. Hardly worth mentioning but I do so for the sake of earnest thoroughness. Basically a twenty-something dollar fan has a couple of non-issues... you should probably but this fan.
